    • Douglas MacLean was born on January 10, 1890 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He was an actor and producer, known for Le mari de ma femme (1924), Introduce Me (1925) and Seven Keys to Baldpate (1925). He was married to Florence Barton, Barbara Barondess, Lorraine MacLean and Faith Adelaide Cole. He died on July 9, 1967 in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

  • Silent film comedian turned producer.
  • Brown-haired American silent screen comedian and romantic leading man, educated at Northwestern University Preparatory School and the Lewis Institute of Technology in Chicago. Prior to acting, he worked as a bond salesman in Philadelphia. MacLean trained for acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and began in films in 1914. He starred in subsequent films for Paramount Artcraft and Thomas Ince Productions. His career waned with the advent of sound pictures and he retired in 1938.
  • His hobbies were "automobiling" , golf, swimming and tennis.
