    MacGill had two sons, Edgar Lansbury and Bruce Lansbury, and two daughters, actress Angela Lansbury (with whom she appeared in Le Portrait de Dorian Gray (1945)) and Isolde Denham (who died from motor neurone disease in Brighton, England) in 1987, who was married firstly (from 1945-1950) to actor Peter Ustinov, with whom she had one daughter, actress Tamara Ustinov and secondly to Derek Dempster (1950-1967). Her other sons-in-law were Malcolm Rennie and Peter Ustinov. Her grandchildren include Anthony Pullen Shaw and David Lansbury.
