Christian Bale’s ‘Batman Begins’ Made Warner Bros. Upset That Made Christopher Nolan Hit the Clock
Image
We see Christian Bale’s full look in his Batman costume around 58 minutes and 30 seconds into the movie. Although it felt like a long time, Christopher Nolan had to prove to Warner Bros. that this was the tradition of other DC movies as well.

Batman Begins, written by David S. Goyer and directed by Christopher Nolan, was the origin story of Batman in Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy. Most of the film featured Bruce Wayne training with Ra’s Al Ghul (Liam Neeson) and preparing to become the Batman he had set out to be. Around the 58-minute mark, we finally see Christian Bale don the Batsuit for the first time.

During his talks with the Happy Sad Confused Podcast, writer David S. Goyer stated that the executives weren’t happy with that decision.

They were not happy about that. No disrespect to the actors who played Bruce Wayne prior to this,...

‘Suits’ Character No One Remembers Is Played by Game of Thrones’ Varys Actor Conleth Hill
Image
Conleth Hill is widely recognized as the famous Lord Varys of Game of Thrones, the eunuch spy and Master of Whisperers from the small council of House Baratheon. As a political strategist, he was skilled in manipulating people and acquiring information through his web of informants.

This might be the actor’s most high-profile project to date, but he also appeared in another popular franchise that many fans surely don’t remember, or worse—they never noticed it was him! Hill played a recurring character across two seasons of Suits.

Conleth Hill portrayed the internationally renowned corporate lawyer Edward Darby in Seasons 2 and 3 of Suits. He only appeared for six episodes, but this was enough for his character to leave a mark and impact the storyline.

Gabriel Macht’s Suits Finally Got Its Act Together, But It Took a K-Drama to Pull It Off
Image
The much-hyped spinoff of Gabriel Macht’s Suits didn’t last more than a season. The show failed to take advantage of the popularity of its prequel show. Fans expected something similar in tone to the original show, but the LA version failed to make a case for itself. However, there was one remake of Macht’s show that managed to retain the magic of the original.

This Korean remake, with the same name as the original, came a year before the final season of the American version. Unlike the 134-episode-long original show, the remake lasted only for 16 episodes, which is the norm for many scripted shows on South Korean television. But these episodes were enough for the show to garner a fanbase just like its U.S. counterpart.

It took a Korean remake to nail what Gabriel Macht’s Suits did Jang Dong-gun as Choi Kang-Seok and Park Hyung-sik...

Suits LA’s Failure Is a Masterclass in How Not to Ride the Coattails of a Hit
Image
The end of any beloved TV series is bittersweet. In Suits‘ case, it wrapped things up with a surprisingly satisfying bow after nine seasons — a rare feat for a cable drama.

There was no real reason to bring it back unless the story demanded it and the cast was on board.

But in the years since the 2019 Suits series finale, the show pulled off something few shows ever do: it became bigger in death.

(Nicole Weingart/NBC)

Thanks to streaming, the legal dramedy found a second life, climbing viewership charts and dominating conversation like it was 2013 all over again.

Naturally, the industry saw dollar signs. Talk of a revival, sequel, or spinoff kicked into overdrive. Enter: Suits LA.

(Trae Patton/NBC)

On paper, it didn’t sound terrible. Shifting the action to Los Angeles and focusing on entertainment law was a smart way to differentiate it from the mothership (and...

After ‘Suits LA’ Cancelation, I’m More Convinced Gabriel Macht Killed the Show With His Cameo
Image
The fictional fan-beloved world of Suits really felt like it would go on to become a major franchise after the spectacular success of the original titular series spawned a new spin-off show Suits LA, led by Stephen Amell. Now, although the show had the potential to take the franchise to new heights, it fell short, getting canceled after only one season.

Now, I know this spin-off could have really delivered better, even with Gabriel Macht’s Harvey Specter gracing his presence on it for brief appearances. But it feels like it was this very cameo that ended up killing the show and even the prospects of there being any series as good as the parent show, because there just can’t be another show like Suits.

Even Gabriel Macht’s cameo, not being able to save Suits LA, says a lot Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter and Stephen Amell as Ted Black.

What Did Eva Mendes Say About Her Onscreen Kiss With Johnny Depp? ( Photo Credit – Wikimedia )

Ryan Gosling’s wife, Eva Mendes, had her answer locked and loaded when it came to kissing Johnny Depp. During an old interview, the Hitch actress couldn’t stop gushing about their steamy onscreen moment in Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Gabriel Macht Has Heard Your Batman Comparisons and He Will Play the Dark Knight Only Under 1 Condition
Image
We are all eagerly waiting for James Gunn to choose the next Batman for his rebooted superhero universe. While some are vouching for Jensen Ackles to take on the Caped Crusader, others believe that they already have the perfect Batman – Robert Pattinson. Now, it looks like another popular actor is ready to play the superhero: Gabriel Macht. Best known for his work as Harvey Specter in Suits, we can’t deny that he has the charisma one would look for in Bruce Wayne.

While he doesn’t have any active plans of joining the DC Universe, he recently stated that he would have to seriously consider playing the character under one condition.

Suits LA Series Finale Trailer Refocuses On Ted & His West Coast Team After Harvey & Louis' Respective Cameos
Image
Ahead of its series finale, the trailer for Suits LAepisode 13 refocuses the story on the West Coast lawyers. Monopolizing on the streaming success of the original series, Suits creator Aaron Korsh began work on the California-based spinoff in late 2023. After years of budding anticipation, Suits LA premiered in February 2025, headed by Stephen Amell’s Ted Black. Josh McDermitt’s Stuart Lane, Lex Scott Davis’ Erica Rollins, and Bryan Greenberg’s Rick Dodsen helped complete the ensemble cast of Suits LA.

While the most memorable episodes of the spinoff’s first (and now last) season included cameos from original cast members Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter) and Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt), the new trailer uploaded to YouTube on May 11, 2025 reveals the Suits LA series finale will focus on Ted and the rest of the firm. Clips show Erica and Rick interacting, Stuart apparently reaching out to Kevin (Troy Winbush), and Ted in court with his ex-girlfriend,...

Don’t Let ‘Suits LA’ Cancelation Fool You: One Crazy Fact About Stephen Amell in ‘Arrow’ Reveals How Much of a Powerhouse He Really Is
Image
Following its move to Netflix in mid-2023, Suits saw a resurgence in popularity. Given its rising viewership, NBC was quick to bank on it by greenlighting a new spin-off from the original showrunner, Aaron Korsh. But in addition to Korsh’s return at the helm of the spin-off, the other exciting addition to the show was Stephen Amell.

Although things didn’t pan out well for the actor, who isn’t accustomed to such roles, fans can still rejoice in his feats in Arrow, which played into his strengths, especially the iconic salmon ladder bit.

Throughout its eight-season-long run, Arrow saw some very notable highs, followed by some severe lows, which almost derailed the entire show, particularly Season 4. However, despite its issues, which can be boiled down to CW’s refusal to evolve with the changing TV landscape,...

I Can’t Hate NBC Exec’s 3 Reasons Why Suits: LA Was Canceled After 39% Rt Rating For Gabriel Macht’s Spin Off
Image
After all the hype NBC built around a Suits spinoff, the network decided to cancel Suits: LA after its first season. As the network announced its fall schedule, it was clear that execs had to make some major sacrifices to make room for the NBA season. While shows like Found, The Irrational, Lopez vs. Lopez, and Night Court also received the axe, I was not expecting Suits: LA‘s scrapping.

Honestly, the show failed to take advantage of the popularity of its prequel show, starring Gabriel Macht. While I expected something similar in tone to Suits, the LA version failed to make a case for itself. NBC president of program planning strategy came on record to explain why the spinoff wasn’t getting a second season.

The Superhero No One Remembers Is Played by Suits Star Gabriel Macht
Image
2008 was a huge year for CBMs, as on one hand, while The Dark Knight redefined what superhero movies could be, on the other, Iron Man sowed the seeds for the biggest franchise in movie history. But similar to the rest of the 2000s, which witnessed the highest of highs and lowest of lows when it comes to Cbms, 2008 had its bump with The Spirit.

Directed by Frank Miller, the neo-noir superhero release starred Gabriel Macht at the forefront in the titular role, and despite being aesthetically similar to Sin City, the reception to the movie was less than thrilling.

Having co-directed 2005’s Sin City, Frank Miller marked his solo directorial debut with the adaptation of Will Eisner’s The Spirit. Even though the two shared a resemblance, aesthetically, past their visual style, there was no common link.

Image
From its premiere in 2011 to its finale in 2019, the legal drama TV series Suits has captured the attention of fans worldwide. So much so that the Og show even spun a one-season spinoff, Suits LA, in 2025 with the lead actor, Gabriel Macht, returning as New York City’s legal elite, Harvey Specter.

NBC Exec Explains Canceling Suits LA as Fans Campaign to Save Spinoff
Image
On May 9, Suits LA was canceled ahead of its season, now series, finale. While Suits fans have launched what they hope will be a successful renewal campaign, NBC executive Jeff Bader has explained why the network did not pick up the Los Angeles-based spinoff for a second season.

Per Deadline, NBCUniversal's President of Program Planning Strategy addressed the network's massive wave of scripted cancellations during a press conference this past Saturday. When asked why Suits LA landed on the chopping block, Bader admitted "it’s so hard to talk about shows and which ones we’re bringing back." Unfortunately, Suits LA's dismal ratings and critical reception were what led to the show's cancellation.

"Suits LA had a very short run, but it really has not resonated [with audiences in] the way we thought it would," Bader explained to reporters. "There can be many, many reasons why it hasn’t resonated, but...

NBC Cancels Suits: LA and Four Other Series in Lineup Revision
Suits: L.A. (2025)
NBCUniversal’s president of program planning strategy, Jeff Bader, confirmed that Suits: LA will end after its first season, joining Lopez vs. Lopez, Night Court, The Irrational and Found on the cancellation list. The decision clears slots for the NBA’s return and reflects shifting viewer engagement.

“Shows must connect with audiences and show signs of future growth,” Bader told reporters. “Suits: LA ran briefly but didn’t meet our expectations. We reviewed linear ratings, streaming figures and audience trends before making tough calls.”

The Suits offshoot, starring Stephen Amell with guest turns from Gabriel Macht and Rick Hoffman, averaged 2.1 million viewers over 11 episodes. The Irrational led the cancellations at 4.4 million, followed by Found (3.7 million), Lopez vs. Lopez (2.3 million) and Night Court (2.2 million).

Bader said NBC explored moving these titles to Peacock but no pickups are planned. Chicago Fire remains the network’s top drama at 7.7 million viewers, earning renewals for that series,...

Why ‘Suits LA’ Was One and Done
Image
No one had Suits (2011-19) being the hit show of 2023, but after it was, very few would have had the inevitable spinoff, Suits LA, canceled weeks before even finishing out its first season.

Suits LA was unceremoniously thrown on the NBC scrap heap Friday, along with four other series: Lopez vs. Lopez, Night Court, The Irrational and Found. The broadcast network had to clean house for the return of the NBA to its airwaves.

But if any of those five were hits, NBC executives would have found a time slot.

“It’s so hard to talk about shows and which ones you bring back,” Jeff Bader, NBC’s president of programming strategy, said on a conference call with media the following day. “Suits (LA) has had a very short run, but it really just has not resonated the way we thought it would. Better Call Harvey: ‘Suits LA’ Is Canceled but That Paved the Path for Gabriel Macht’s Return in a True Spinoff
Image
The much-hyped spinoff of Gabriel Macht’s Suits isn’t going to last more than a season. The verdict is out on Suits LA, which has been cancelled after its single season. Honestly, the show failed to take advantage of the popularity of its prequel show. While fans expected something similar in tone to Suits, the LA version failed to make a case for itself.

With the cancellation of this spinoff that brought back Harvey Specter in a recurring guest role, Aaron Korsh should put his focus on another project that fans have been asking for. We would like to see a Harvey-centered spinoff, be it a prequel or sequel, that is in the vein of Bob Odenkirk’s Better Call Saul.

Rick Hoffman Explains His Louis Litt Return in ‘Suits LA’ for Now-Final Season
Image
[This story contains spoilers from “Angry Sylvester,” season one, episode twelve of Suits LA.]

For all nine seasons of the USA Network legal drama Suits, Rick Hoffman brought equal parts heart, humor and hostility to the role of Louis Litt — the petulant, heart-on-his-sleeve frenemy of hotshot super lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht). Although he was initially positioned as a frightening foil to Harvey and his brilliant, unlicensed associate Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), Louis, with his many antics and eccentricities, became an unexpected fan favorite — so much so that series creator Aaron Korsh even toyed with the idea of building a spinoff around the deeply flawed corporate attorney.

While their plans for an offshoot never panned out, Hoffman and Korsh always harbored dreams of revisiting the character one day. Following the unprecedented resurgence of Suits — which became the most watched title ever acquired by a streaming service — a couple years ago on Netflix, Korsh fast-tracked the development of the new West Coast spinoff,...

“He and I Have Been Wanting To Do Something”: Rick Hoffman Reveals How Aaron Korsh Pitched ‘Suits LA’ to Him
Image
Earlier on in the first (and now only) season of Suits LA, the spin-off series brought on original Suits star, Gabriel Macht, as Harvey Specter for a three-episode arc which also featured David Costabile as Daniel Hardman. This week, the spin-off continues that trend as it gears up for the return of Rick Hoffman as corporate finance attorney Louis Litt. Besides Macht's Harvey and Patrick J. Adams' Mike Ross, Hoffman's Louis was arguably one of the most memorable characters from the 2011 legal dramedy. Ahead of his arrival in the spin-off series, Hoffman, in an interview with TV Insider, revealed how the project was pitched to him.

Suits LA was created by Aaron Korsh, the same mind behind the original series, which means the creator has long-standing relationships with several of the Og stars. Korsh had earlier on asserted that he knew what fans wanted with regard to returning stars,...

Set in the fast-paced world of corporate law, the show follows a brilliant but unlicensed legal prodigy and the world’s best closer who took a chance on him. Suits L.A. Canceled By NBC After Just 1 Season
Image
Stephen Amell’s time leading Suits LA is coming to an end after only one season. Serving as the second spinoff series based on the original Suits, Amell’s show followed the exploits of entertainment lawyer Ted Black and his Los Angeles-based firm Black Lane. Developed off the back of an unprecedented surge in Suits viewership on streaming services in 2023, the franchise’s latest spinoff series debuted in February this year with guest appearances from several original cast members, including Harvey Specter’s Gabriel Macht.

Per Deadline, NBC has officially cancelled Suits LA after just one season. Despite considerable interest in the project thanks to the original show’s streaming resurgence, viewership numbers for the show are reported to have sat consistently just over the 1 million mark on linear in Live+Same Day, following the series debut that pulled in 2.6 million viewers. Why Stephen Amell's Suits LA Was Canceled By NBC
Image
The NBC corporate legal series "Suits" was a huge hit, running for nine seasons before ending in 2019 and earning a pretty decent following on streaming. Unfortunately, it has not been able to spark any successful spin-offs just yet. In 2019, the USA series "Pearson," which followed Gina Torres's character Jessica Pearson as she entered the world of Chicago politics, was canceled after just one season. Now, the second such spin-off, the NBC series "Suits LA," has been canceled after only one season as well. People absolutely loved the New York attorney antics of "Suits," so why didn't the Los Angeles version seem to pan out?

Despite bringing back some of the original cast from the flagship series, including Gabriel Macht's Harvey Specter, and having some pretty big-name guest stars to help fill out the world of celebrity lawyer Ted Black (Stephen Amell), "Suits LA" just couldn't live up to the charm of the original,...

Court is no longer in session as Night Court, Suits LA, The Irrational, & more get cancelled by NBC
Melissa Rauch
After sentencing several TV series to cancellation, NBC is bringing the gavel down on them. The Night Court reboot, starring Melissa Rauch, is the first series to get cancelled. The courtroom comedy lasted three seasons, with Lacretta and John Larroquette co-starring in the shenanigans. After a strong start, the show’s year-to-year numbers steadily declined. Nostalgia is a powerful tool in Hollywood, but with so much competition, it shows that springboards from fond memories eventually fade.

According to Deadline, there was an effort to bring the show back for a fourth and final season with a shorter episode count, but it didn’t happen. It’s still possible that Warner Bros. Television could shop the show somewhere else.

The series revolved around “unapologetic optimist judge Abby Stone (Rauch), the daughter of the late Harry Stone, who follows in her father’s footsteps as she presides over the night shift of...

'Suits LA' Canceled After One Season at NBC
Image
It seems that the magic of Suits’ Netflix resurgence did not carry over to the long-running drama series’ spinoff, Suits LA, as NBC has filed a cease and desist letter after just a single season.

The series, which was headlined by Stephen Amell, arrived on NBC with high expectations – perhaps too high. The show’s reviews were brutal, and the series suffered for not being able to live up to its predecessor. While the spinoff was mostly its own show, with limited connections to the flagship show, over the course of its single season several original cast members were brought back onboard, but even that was not enough to give it a second chance on the network.

In the end, Suits LA had a legacy to live up and it failed. Ratings started off middle-of-the-road, and didn't improve as the episodes rolled out each week. Even with original stars like Gabriel Macht,...

‘Suits LA’ Canceled Ahead of Season One Finale
Image
Suits LA is ending its run. Yes, already.

NBC has canceled the spinoff series of the beloved USA Network courtroom dramedy. The first season will conclude with its forthcoming May 18 finale, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The 13-episode NBC series brought back original stars Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter, David Costabile as Daniel Hardman and the remaining episodes are set to see Rick Hoffman return as Louis Litt.

Suits LA, however, launched with a focus on a new set of lawyers, led by Stephen Amell as entertainment lawyer Ted. After the legal drama exploded on Netflix in 2023, creator Aaron Korsh decided to expand the Suits universe with the franchise’s second spinoff, setting the story on the West Coast.

The original Suits, which brought the world Meghan Markle, ran from 2011-2019 on USA Network. It did well for USA, but the show really exploded after heading to Netflix in a syndication (of sorts) deal.

The Verdict Is in For ‘Suits LA’s Future
Image
The jury has deliberated, and the sentencing is now official — Suits LA will not return for a second season. With the final episode set for May 18, audiences can prepare to say goodbye to Ted Black (Stephen Amell) and the rest of the characters, as their stories will officially come to an end following the 10-episode debut season. Deadline broke the reveal which comes following the double early renewals of two of NBC’s other new kids on the block, Happy’s Place and St. Denis Medical, both of which had their fates unveiled earlier in the year. Today also saw the sentencing of Night Court and Lopez vs. Lopez, which were also cut from next year's lineup.

Suits LA’s journey from speculation to reality picked up thanks to the arrival of the flagship series on Netflix, where it enjoyed a tidal wave of viewership numbers not just once but multiple times.

Stephen Amell's Suits LA's Renewal Fate at NBC Revealed Ahead of Season Finale
Image
Suits is one of the most popular legal dramas of all time. Following the success of the original series, two spin-offs followed, Pearson and Suits LA.

The latter premiered this year in February, bringing back several original Suits stars. It also featuredArrow's Stephen Amell in the leading role as Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor who decides to become an entertainment lawyer in Los Angeles. The series didn't open up to the best reviews and didn't live up to the original series, and NBC has just decided not to renew Suits LA ahead of its upcoming finale, per Deadline.

The new spin-off came with high expectations considering the franchise's popularity. The spin-off also had the original creator, Aaron Korsh, attached to the project, but it failed to recreate the same magic as the original. The show had positive viewership numbers during its premiere, but its ratings plummeted shortly after.

‘Suits LA’ Canceled After One Season on NBC
Image
“Suits LA” won’t be returning for a second season at NBC.

NBC has opted not to renewed the “Suits” spinoff series for an additional season, leading the Stephen Amell-led show to end after just one season. The news comes before “Suits LA” airs its Season 1 finale on May 18.

In “Suits LA,” Amell starred as Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, who reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. “His firm is at a crisis point and to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career,” the official logline reads.

The supporting cast of “Suits LA” includes Josh McDermitt (“The Walking Dead”), Lex Scott Davis (“Ricky Stanicky”) and Bryan Greenberg (“How to Make It in America”).

The spinoff series also saw “Suits” star Gabriel Macht reprise his role as fan-favorite Harvey Specter for a three-episode arc, while Rick Hoffman,...

‘Suits LA’ Canceled After One Season at NBC
Image
“Suits LA” has been canceled at NBC after just one season, Variety has learned.

The expansion of the “Suits” universe originally launched on NBC in February. The cast includes Stephen Amell, Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt and Bryan Greenberg. A number of original “Suits” cast members have made appearances, including Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, and David Costabile.

The show had a lot of buzz behind it going into the premiere, given that “Suits” had found an incredible new life on streaming on Netflix. But “Suits LA” failed to match that hype, with the show making only a small dent in the ratings and drawing mostly negative reviews upon its debut.

The official series description states:

“Ted Black (Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must...

‘Suits LA’ Canceled By NBC After One Season
Image
Exclusive: It’s one and done for NBC’s legal drama Suits LA headlined by Stephen Amell, a spinoff of the long-running USA Network series Suits.

Given the high-profile IP involved, NBC had high expectations for the series from Suits creator Aaron Korsh. They never materialized: after an Ok premiere, viewership for the offshoot, which airs on Sunday, has remained low.

That is with NBC and Korsh pulling out all the stops and bringing back popular original cast members to play with the new cast. They included Gabriel Macht, who reprised the role of Harvey Specter in a three-episode arc, Rick Hoffman as eccentric Louis Litt in episode 112 and David Costabile as Daniel Hardman in episode 109.

Original Suits Star Opens Up About Role In Suits LA
Image
WhenSuits LApremiered on NBC in February, fans were excited to see if any actors from the flagship series would appear in the spinoff. Now, original Suitsstar Rick Hoffman is sharing details about reprising his role as Louis Litt in the new show.

"I had also been sort of curious when they first called me, but it was a really cool idea, and so how could I say no?" Hoffman told TV Insider when asked about his appearance on the show. When asked how series creator Aaron Korsch pitched the idea, the actor was very honest about his willingness to return. "Well, he and I have been wanting to do something since we ended Suits five and a half years ago," he explained. And so, of course, we were in touch throughout the pandemic and during the strike."

"Then it’s funny, because I hadn’t heard from him for three weeks,...

‘Suits LA’: Rick Hoffman Talks Playing Louis Litt Again, Mudding & More
Image
Here’s mud in your eye! Following the three-episode arc featuring Gabriel Macht‘s Harvey Specter, the smartly paced use of original Suits characters in NBC’s spinoff, Suits L.A., continues this week with the return of Rick Hoffman‘s perfectly persnickety Louis Litt. And it’s absolutely in keeping with what we came to expect from the fan-favorite corporate attorney who loved his cat, wife Sheila, justice, and taking a long deep mud bath with equal (and alarming) vigor. But given that Louis is such a classically New York mensch, how on Earth does he wind up in sunny Los Angeles? Let’s just say the ol’ fella’s prickly disposition hasn’t exactly simmered down since we last saw him starting a new firm and family during Suits‘ series finale. In fact, his anger issues are putting him on a collision course with L.A.‘s own pot-stirrer...

“I’m sorry”: Gabriel Macht Apologized to ‘Suits’ Fans Who Had to Go Through This Because of the Show
Image
Gabriel Macht only needed his role as Harvey Specter to establish a name for himself in the industry. He played the role for nine seasons of the USA network show Suits, starting in 2011. The series gained a significant fan base during its runtime. However, the series blew up when it started streaming on Netflix four years after it aired its final episode.

Macht opened up about some of his fan encounters and recalled apologizing to some fans. He shared that he had fans coming up to him to inform him that they had entered law school after watching the show. Macht wasn’t impressed, as he knew that these people had the wrong idea about real-life attorneys.

“If this guy is 50 years old and still hitting on women…”: Suits’ Original Plan for Harvey Specter Would’ve Been Disastrous for Gabriel Macht
Image
It’s hard to picture Suits without Gabriel Macht’s witty, dapper Harvey Specter at the center of it all. He’s the guy with the best lines, the best suits, and the best instincts in the room. But believe it or not, the version of Harvey we all know and admire almost didn’t exist.

In a twist that could’ve changed the tone of the entire show, creator Aaron Korsh revealed that the network originally wanted Harvey to be older. Much older.

Luckily, that version stayed on paper, and we got the Harvey who drinks Scotch, quotes sports metaphors, and owns every room he walks into. Here is what happened behind the scenes!

Could Suits have worked without Gabriel Macht’s Harvey Specter?

When Suits landed on Netflix in the summer of 2023, it didn’t just get a second wind, it exploded. A legal drama that had quietly...

Rick Hoffman Teases ‘Suits LA’ Return As Louis Litt Deals With Anger Management Issues
Image
Exclusive: Rick Hoffman returns to the Suits universe in NBC’s Suits LA on Sunday, and Deadline has your first look at Louis Litt as the actor teases what his character has been up to since we last saw him.

In last Sunday’s episode titled “Stuart and Tedster”, Stuart (Josh McDermitt) has a run-in with actress Yvette Nicole Brown, Rick’s (Bryan Greenberg) client at Railsback Lane, while each picks up their children at school. Stuart has not been his usual self since becoming involved in a highly stressful case, which has been affecting every area of his life. At the school drop-off, Stuart was jamming to the Nsync song in the episode title, distracting him from the road. His car accidentally taps Brown’s bumper, leading to a tense confrontation.

Rick asks Stuart to make things right with Brown, but fails miserably. This leads to Stuart being assigned to attend anger management,...

Suits LA is bringing back one more original cast member before its first season concludes on May 18. Azita Ghanizada, who portrays Ted Black's no-nonsense assistant Rosalyn in the spinoff series, recently opened up about getting the chance to work with Rick Hoffman in the penultimate episode, "Angry Sylvester."

In an interview with Cbr, Ghanizada first expressed how excited she was for fans to fully take in the spinoff once all 13 episodes had aired. "There's been so much to unpack and to get through, to tell this story of this prosecutor turned into an entertainment lawyer of all things... The way that we end up ending the season is just so powerful and dynamic, and I think it's just such an audience pleaser," she explained. "So I'm excited for everybody to watch the whole 13."

Amid Renewal Uncertainty, Suits' Louis Litt Heads to LA in New Teaser for Spinoff
Image
Rick Hoffman is finally back as Louis Litt. The fan-favorite Suits character is set to appear in the next episode of the Los Angeles-based spinoff, with a new promo showing Louis mudding with Josh McDermitt's Stuart Lane.

Hoffman's return to the Suits universe was first reported in March 2025. Based on the below promo and the episode logline, it looks like Louis Litt will be the "unexpected adversary" that Stuart meets at anger management. In the original Suits, Louis was known for his short temper, making him the perfect character to part with Stuart, who seems to enjoy a good mud bath as much as Louis. The upcoming episode, titled "Angry Sylvester," will also see Erica and Ted disagree when she tries to sign a high-profile client against his wishes, Rick working to secure Dylan Pryor's dream role, and Leah questioning her future at Black & Associates, per the logline.

Revivals have become one of the mainstays of modern television. The nostalgia from previously concluded shows become so strong, we revive them. Peacock and NBC have been the center of this move with shows which fall into the USA Network's "Blue Sky" era. Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and the world of Suits recently earned itself a spin-off show, Suits LA, which is now well into its first season. Only last week, Mark Feuerstein's medical dramedy, Royal Pains, which will see him reprise his role as Dr. Henry “Hank" Lawson was eyed for areboot. Gabriel Macht Breaks Down ‘Suits LA’ Arc & Playing Batman One Day, Maybe
Image
Spoiler Alert: The following reveals major plot points from tonight’s NBC Suits LA episode.

Gabriel Macht completed his three-episode arc on NBC’s Suits LA on Sunday night, returning as Harvey Specter, the debonair longtime friend of the spinoff’s lead character, Ted Black (Stephen Amell).

Deadline visited the Universal Studios set of the legal drama in March to observe scenes from episode 108, where Macht was joined by Amell and Troy Winbush, who plays Kevin. As someone who covered the mothership series Suits multiple times during its original run on USA Network (2011-2019), seeing Macht suited up and bringing that Harvey swagger back as if no time had passed was a spectacular sight.

During a chat with Macht in March, he shared that he carries Harvey inside him and sometimes channels the character when the moment calls for it. Although he thought he would never play Harvey again after the series concluded,...
