Erminio Macario
Erminio Macario simply known as Macario (Turin, May 27, 1902 - Turin, March 26, 1980) was a popular Italian actor and comedian in theater, film and television. Considered by critics as the inventor of the Italian comedy films, in his long career he has worked on over fifty plays in variety theater, magazines, musical comedies and dramas. Soon he reached the success and launched numerous "soubrette". He lent his mask as well as cinemas to the television, often adopting the Piedmont for his characters and his caricatures.
