Biography

Katie is an actor and writer, originally from Southampton. At 14, she was cast in No Child of Mine, directed by Peter Kosminsky which won a BAFTA for Best Single Drama. Kosminsky then cast Katie in the hard-hitting drama about teenage bullying, Walking on The Moon.

After graduating from Goldsmiths (University of London) in Drama and Theatre Arts, she was one-third of comedy group Trippplicate. Together they took numerous shows to the Edinburgh Festival and were nominated for the Writers Guild Best Comedy Award (2007). she was cast in a number of comedy roles such as Naughty Rachel in Green Wing (2004-6), The Complete Guide To Parenting (2007), Him & Her (2011) and Bluestone 42 (2013-15). She is also known for the multi-award winning Boy A (2007), The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus (2011) and Maigret (2016), and played DS Jo Brunt in ITV's highest rated new drama Manhunt (2019).

Katie is also a writer and has scripted numerous site-specific theatre shows including the award-winning immersive show 'You Once Said Yes' (2011-13) with Look Left Look Right. More recently she was the script writer for 'Peaky Blinders: The Rise' with Immersive Everywhere (2023) and The Paddington Bear Experience on London's Southbank with The Path Group (2024).

Katie splits life between Washington DC and London.
