Edit
  • Trivia
Therese Lyon was cast in the role of the housekeeper (Jeannette) in Charlie Chaplin's film "Monsieur Verdoux". When she arrived on the set, she noticed that the table settings were not appropriate to the setting in the film -- and she happened to mention this to Mr. Chaplin. He took her seriously, stopped the shooting, and encouraged her to instruct the set decorators, et al. as to what the table should look like. The table was re-set exactly according to her suggestions.
