- His last film Takaya dlinnaya, dlinnaya doroga (1972) was in production in 1970, when Luspekayev died. The film was completed and released after his death.
- Worked on stage at the Bolshoi Drama Theatre (BDT) in Leningrad, 1959 -1967.
- At the age of 26 he was already overtaken by a vascular disease. After three years he had to amputate the feet of both legs.
- He graduated from the Theater School named after M.S. Schepkin (1950) in Moscow.
