He composed music for Clifford Mills, John Ramsay, and Roger Quilter's play, "Where the Rainbow Ends," performed as a ballet at the Royal Festival Hall in London, England with Alicia Markova (Spirit of the lake), Anton Dolin (St. George), Claude Hulbert and Winifred Shotter in the cast. Anton Dolin was also director.

Trivia
Former ballet dancer (with Diaghilev's Ballet Russe, 1918-1921), turned composer and conductor by the age of nineteen. He composed overtures, cantatas, ballets and film music and later became a professor at the Royal Academy of Music. After wartime service in the RAF, he formed his own orchestra to give concerts on the BBC.
