As part of ScreenRant's summer movie preview, a new image has been revealed for Lilly. The upcoming biopicstars Patricia Clarkson as Lilly Ledbetter, a small town woman who seeks legal recourse after being mistreated by her employer. The movie follows Ledbetter's life over the course of several decades, starting in her early years working for Goodyear and continuing through her high-profile Supreme Court case. The movie is directed by Rachel Feldman, who co-wrote the film with Adam Prince. In addition to Clarkson, Lilly stars Josh McDermitt, Thomas Sadoski, Deirdre Lovejoy, and John Benjamin Hickey.

Now, ScreenRant can exclusively reveal a new image from Lilly. The image shows Clarkson's titular character sitting in a car, looking up at an unseen character. Lilly's eyes look bright as she gazes at the person above her.

Exclusive: Blue Harbor Entertainment will release the Patricia Clarkson-starring drama Lilly, based on the true story of working-class hero Lilly Ledbetter, exclusively in theaters beginning May 9.

Clarkson, who was nominated for an Oscar for her supporting role of Joy Burns in 2003’s Pieces of April, stars as the title character Ledbetter, a real life Alabama tire factory supervisor who aspired to lift her family into the middle class after having grown up in poverty.

She endures a work environment plagued by pervasive harassment for the sake of the best paycheck in the county. As she looks to retire, Lilly discovers that the system has been cheating her, paying her close to half of what the men with the same jobs were earning. Outraged, she fights this injustice to the Supreme Court, the corridors of Congress and eventually the White House all while powerful forces try to shut her down.

These days, many a beloved network series is being given the streaming age reboot treatment. Kelsey Grammer pulled off a full "Frasier" revival series which was, lamentably, neither disappointing nor remarkable. Meanwhile, NBC ordered a "Suits" spin-off, "Suits: LA" which will see the show that experienced a remarkable Netflix renaissance in recent years revitalized for a new generation. All of which has only heightened anticipation for a "Bones" reboot.

The Fox procedural, led by Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz, ran for 12 seasons from 2005 to 2017, and maintained a devoted following throughout. With renewed interest in resurrecting series just like this, talk of a "Bones" reboot has increased, though such a thing would be complicated given Disney's 2019 acquisition of Fox. If a "Bones" revival does come to pass, however, it would at least give series creator Hart Hanson a chance to address one of the most frustratingly nonsensical aspects of the original series.

Part of the reason "Bones" lasted as long as it did was because of its unique blend of humor and drama. The show ran for 12 seasons, showcasing throughout an incongruous but somehow charming mix of humorous banter between its characters with some pretty horrific crime scenes and depraved serial killers. But while the humor and the horror were two separate elements, in a way the grotesque bodies on "Bones" were sort of part of the comedy.

Some of the fake corpses made for the show were beyond things you might see in an all-out horror film. There were fresh bodies on "Bones" that even went too far for the show's producers, and one particular body had Zack Addy actor Eric Millegan extra grossed out. These are just two examples from a show filled with some of the most absurdly detailed gore yet seen on a network show. There was even...

Throughout Hart Hanson's Fox procedural "Bones," the main cast of characters who work at the Jeffersonian Institute get attacked by vicious killers and murders a lot. No, really, it happens a lot, to the point where it's one of the bigger things on "Bones" that doesn't make sense — but I digress. Aside from the Gormogon, the Puppeteer, the Deity, and Mark Kovac, who are some of the most grotesque villains seen on the series, there's one particularly frightening villain who shows up as early as season 2 of "Bones" — specifically, the Gravedigger, who buries victims alive for generous ransoms (and may or may not even set them free if the money is delivered). Also, a lot of her victims are children, which is particularly messed up.

NBC has announced that the James Spader-led drama is moving to Thursdays at 8/7c (from Sundays at 10/9c), beginning on June 1. That night, back-to-back episodes will air at 8/7c and 9/8c. Furthermore, the series finale is set for two hours on July 13, starting at 8/7c. On June 1, first up is “The Hat Trick,” in which, in an effort to prove their worth to Congressman Hudson, Red (Spader) provides the Task Force with three criminal cases that are deeper than they appear. In typical The Blacklist fashion, “The Four Guns” doesn’t refer to firearms. Rather, the four individuals who are on Raymond Reddington’s (James Spader) blacklist this week are goniffs, Yiddish for “thieves.” These are not your run of the mill pickpockets. After all, they move through Senator Cynthia Panabaker’s (Deirdre Lovejoy) re-election speech at the park as an “apex predator,” a single organism of coordinated effort that manages to deftly swipe two guns, a radio, and a cell phone off of the two Secret Service men tasked with protecting Panabaker from malcontents. One of those secret service weapons is the one that fires at Panabaker but hits one of her agents in the shoulder instead.

A goniff is not a murderer, but a sly trickster who takes what belongs to another while fearing flesh and blood and eluding discovery at all cost.

Exclusive: The Blacklist is saying farewell to two series regulars, including one of NBC drama’s longest-serving cast members, Amir Arison. The actor, who has portrayed Aram Mojtabi for the past nine seasons, is leaving as he is preparing to make his Broadway debut this summer in the starring role of Amir in The Kite Runner.

Also departing is Laura Sohn, who has portrayed FBI agent Alina Park for the past three seasons. Both characters’ exits were revealed at the end of tonight’s Season 9 finale.

While Arison is leaving as a series regular, the door remains open for him to make guest appearances in Season 10. His departure comes a year after another major Blacklist cast exit in the Season 8 finale when original female lead Megan Boone signed off.

“I have been so honored to play Aram Mojtabai for 9 years on The Blacklist,” Arison said in a statement to Deadline.

Lifetime's original movie about Elizabeth Smart's 2002 abduction has found its cast, with Nickelodeon Alana Boden set to play Elizabeth. The authorized movie, titled I Am Elizabeth Smart, will be produced and narrated by Smart, who will appear on-screen.

Riverdale's Skeet Ulrich and The Blacklist's Deirdre Lovejoy are set to play Brian David Mitchell, Elizabeth's kidnapper, and Wanda Barzee, his co-conspirator, in the film, which is currently in production.

March 12, 2003 will mark the 15th anniversary of Smart's rescue.

Continuing our weekly look at "Orange Is the New Black" season 3, two episodes at a time, I have a review of episodes 5 & 6 coming up just as soon as I tell you how I really feel about red velvet... "She's invisible." -Chang's brother Once again, "Orange" offers a pair of episodes that make for a matched set, spotlighting two characters from waaaaay down on the end of the bench — or, in Chang's case, a few rows back in the stands — whose stories in both past and present are largely about how often they're overlooked. Flaca's always been more prominent than Chang, in that she and Maritza are one of the show's go-to pairings for idiot savant Greek chorus action. But she's still been a pretty minor part of her own social group, let alone of the entire series, and it's a position she's well aware of. We see in the flashbacks...

We've come to the end of this trip through "Orange Is the New Black" season 2. Thoughts on the final three episodes, and season 2 as a whole, coming up just as soon as I buy a banjolele on Craigslist... On Sunday night's all new Girls, Hannah Horvath (Lena Dunham) dealt with a subject the show has yet to seriously broach: death.

June Squibb, who was nominated for Best Actress for her performance in Nebraska, played Hannah Horvath’s dying grandmother, Flo, on an episode of Girls that aired Sunday night opposite the Oscars.

It wasn’t your typical Girls episode as Marnie (Allison Williams), Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet), Jessa (Jemima Kirke) and Ray (Alex Karpovsky) all had the same amount of screen time in this episode: none.

The episode, which took place outside of New York City and Brooklyn, had a much more serious tone than an average Girls episode.

Nora Ephron's Lucky Guy is a profane love letter to the lost, rollicking world of New York tabloid journalism. It is also a tribute to its real-life fallen son, the brash reporter Mike McAlary, who received the Pulitzer prize for his muckraking exposures of the New York police department shortly before he died of cancer aged 41. Tom Hanks, sporting a red tint in his hair and a bottlebrush that some might call a moustache, plays McAlary for this, his Broadway debut, striding the Broadhurst stage like a brazen colossus in a series of bad suits.

The play spans 1985 to 1998 and a gritty, murder-riven New York barely recognisable today. It charts McAlary's rise from lowly hack to star columnist. It also shows several career lows – tawdry squabbles with colleagues, a drink-driving accident, the gross mishandling of a rape case.
