- Had a son, Anatol Locker (b. 1963), with director Kurt Wilhelm.
- Graduated from the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg in 1956 and made her stage debut the following year at the Linzer Landestheater.
- Completed a three-year apprenticeship as a hand weaver at a school of arts and crafts. In addition, she took drama classes at the Bruckner-Konservatorium in Linz.
- The daughter of a chemist father and a pharmacist mother.
- After her role in the Heimatfilm Der Schandfleck, she was signed to a five year contract by the Viennese production company Schönbrunnfilm. Has since appeared in films of diverse genres, as well as in TV operettas and as guest star of crime series.
