Linian Liu is known for Gone with the Bullets(2014), Warriors of Heaven and Earth (2003), Foreign Moon (1996), Bethune: The Making of a Hero (1990) and Hibiscus Town (1988). Linian Liu also wrote and directed 'Halloween Night'(2023) and 'Ha! Ha! Ha!' (2008). Linian Liu began his career in the arts at the age of 16 as an opera singer, ballet dancer and theatre actor at the China Military Opera Theatre in China in 1972. in 1989 he then immigrated to Canada and pursued his career in the film industry in North America. Now, Linian Liu together with his spouse Jehanne de Biolley are the International Executive Officers of MCF-Macau international Children's Film Festival. Linian Liu is also a talented interior and furniture designer who combines Chinese elements with contemporary elegance. As co-founder of liudebiolleystudio, with partner Jehanne de Biolley, they created a lifestyle at work concept for WHO United Nations head-offices in Beijing, China, Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Manila, The Philippines.
