The trailer shows Marie levitating objects and throwing people, hinting at a possible telekinetic upgrade. These scenes suggest she can now manipulate blood pressure similar to The Boys‘ Victoria Neuman, the head-popping supe. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly at San Diego Comic-Con, the producer explained how paying tribute to Perdomo and his character Andre Anderson was top of mind going into the sophomore installment of The Boys spinoff.

“[That was] probably the No. 1 thing we wanted to do,” Fazekas said of commemorating the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina alum. “Just watching the show and watching even just the trailer for it … we did it so long ago and I remember being in the writer’s room and talking about how important it was to honor him. San Diego Comic-Con is a time for celebrating fandom — a time of frenzied excitement that much of the cast of Prime Video’s “Gen V” are experiencing for the first time.

“You guys are gonna have the best day of your life,” Hamish Linklater told his “Gen V” co-stars Jaz Sinclair, Maddie Phillips, London Thor and Derek Luh during their interview at the Comic Con Variety Studio presented by Google TV before their big panel at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday night.

The Life of Chuck, the acclaimed adaptation of the Stephen King story by Mike Flanagan, has received a digital release date. The fantasy drama, boasting an 81% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes (88% from audiences), received a limited theatrical release in North America, but unfortunately, some international markets didn't get the chance to see the film on the big screen.

The Life of Chuck will be available on digital platforms starting July 29, 2025, for rent or purchase. The film will also get its respective physical release when it arrives on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 30. Fans of Flanagan's filmography should keep in mind that this physical release will feature a commentary by the director himself as part of the bonus content (or special features).

Rachel Brosnahan, the actress who is widely renowned for her breakthrough role as Miriam “Midge” Maisel in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, has earned a one-way ticket into one of the up-and-coming Dcu, through James Gunn’s upcoming Superman. And since then, talks about her pretty much refuse to die down.

The forthcoming flick will see her embodying the character of the fan-beloved Lois Lane: A world-famous investigative journalist at Daily Planet, who works alongside (and ends up being the love interest of) Clark Kent, aka the Kryptonian superhero Kal-El (played by David Corenswet in the new movie).

Judging from the reviews that the trailer and the early screenings have received so far, Brosnahan has ostensibly left no stone unturned in giving one of the finest performances of her lifetime as Lane. Studio Ghibli’s ‘Ponyo,’ the films of Laika and a celebration of Marilyn Monroe are among the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures new exhibitions that will open in 2026.

Studio Ghibli’s “Ponyo” will focus on the animation process and highlight a donation of original production materials that Ghibli made to the Academy Collection. The second exhibition, titled “Marilyn Monroe: Hollywood Icon,” will be a centennial celebration of the actress that will examine her public image through original screen-used costumes, photographs, personal items and more.

There will also be a traveling exhibition, “Hidden Worlds: The Films of Laika,” which will explore the technology and artistry of stop motion animation through its filmography, including “Coraline” (2009), “ParaNorman” (2012) and “Kubo and the Two Strings” (2016).
