Lim is an AI-certified, Emmy Award-winning visual effects producer with deep expertise in development, R&D, production, and media technology. She has collaborated closely with major studios, streaming platforms, and global brands to create cutting-edge content.
A seasoned consultant and advisor to tech companies, Lim co-founded and successfully exited a fully funded tech startup. She has worked with renowned producers and directors, including Lorenzo DiBonaventura, Michael Bay, Gore Verbinski, Joe Kosinski, Steven DeKnight, and Bong Joon-ho, contributing to the visual development of their projects. At Digital Domain, she led the production company behind Ender's Game and later launched and managed the Film & Television divisions at Psyop and Entity FX. Her expertise spans R&D for complex technical and budgetary challenges, the creation of original content using game engines, and the production of virtual reality experiences for Samsung and Paramount Studios.
Lim has provided strategic consulting for industry giants such as Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Studios, Disney, and other Asian and domestic production companies. Her production credits include projects for Microsoft, Starz, Paramount, IMAX, Digital Domain, and Bento Box Entertainment.
She is a member of the Producers Guild and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and serves as the Founder and Chair of KALH (Korean American Leaders in Entertainment), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting and mentoring Korean Americans in the entertainment industry. Lim remains actively involved with the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), the Overseas Koreans Foundation, and the Korean Consulate General's Office in Los Angeles.
