Writer producer Warren Lewis was born and raised in New York City in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn. He described it "like living in a stationary, edgy carnival. You learn to be fast, funny, have a lot of heart. You know all kinds of people. It's ground level show business." He brings that edge and heart to his work when writing contemporary and period pieces in urban, rural even fantastical environments. He is a citizen of The United States of America and Canada.

He has worked on assignments for most of the major film and television studios including Sony, Warner Brothers and Fox.
