    • Ronald Lewis was born on December 11, 1928 in Port Talbot, West Glamorgan, Wales, UK. He was an actor, known for Hélène de Troie (1956), Billy Budd (1962) and À main armée (1957). He was married to Elizabeth Phillips and Norah Gorsen. He died on January 11, 1982 in Pimlico, London, England, UK.

Trivia

  • Ronald Lewis was a Welsh actor kept busy in British films throughout the 1950s. In the 1960s, however, his career slackened off appreciably, and the situation got worse in the 1970s. He was declared bankrupt in 1981 and committed suicide by means of a barbiturate overdose in January 1982.
  • He suffered a heart attack in 1975.
  • Appeared on stage in the play 'The Square Ring' and repeated his role in the film of the same name as did George Rose, Bill Owen, and Bill Travers.
  • After the war he played in Rep then made his London debut with the Open Air Theatre in Regents Park.
  • Graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 1950.
