Portrayed Captain Nemo in RCA Victor's 1954 2-record 45-RPM album of "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", based on the Disney movie. The plot of the film was changed and Nemo's character was softened so that his revenge motives were inexplicably never mentioned, thus making him seem merely an eccentric scientist. In addition, Nemo, in this recording, willingly allowed his captors to escape after they saved his life. Naturally, this made his efforts to keep the secrets of the Nautilus seem silly and pointless.

He was the second actor to portray host "Geoffrey Barnes: Connoisseur of Mysteries" for "Molle' Mystery Theater" on NBC (1945-1948) and CBS Radio (1948-1951).
