- Ada Leonard was born on July 22, 1915 in Lawton, Oklahoma, USA. She was an actress, known for Il y a de l'amour dans l'air (1949), Nouilles au bluff (1937) and Forty Naughty Girls (1937). She died on November 29, 1997 in Santa Monica, California, USA.
- She was widowed twice, once having been married to her manager George L. McCall; then Dr. Harold Bernstein, one of the founders of the Reiss-Davis Clinic. Ada Leonard and her band also appeared regularly on KTTV television. In 1951, she launched a talent show on that station seeking talented women singers, titled "Search for Girls.".
