Ulisse Lendaro

Ulisse Lendaro is an Italian attorney, producer, actor and director born in Venice. Currently living in Rome, Ulisse's award-winning creative career began in acting where he starred in productions with the New York Theatre Ballet, the Stanislavsky Theater of Washington and later in feature films, most prominently as the lead in the Italian cult horror film, Medley - Brandelli di Scuola. In 2004 he was awarded the Premio Hystrio which recognizes youth creativity and in 2017 he made his directorial debut with L'Età Imperfetta. Premiering at the Festival del Cinema di Roma, audiences and critics praised the film with Rolling Stone magazine describing the film as a "mix between Black Swan and All about Eve". His debut went on to play in over 30 film festivals around the world, winning several awards, including the Premio Kineo at the prestigious Venice Film Festival. Following the success of his debut feature, Ulisse has gone on to direct several shorts, including SullePunte, starring Roberto Bolle - principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre, and Human O.a.k. - Human of a kind, an Indian-Italian co-production inspired by Percy Shelley's poem Ode to the West Wind, shot entirely during the Covid-19 pandemic. Through his production company, Louis Lender Productions, he has started expanding into TV with Light of Your Eyes (Luce Dei Tuoi Occhi) - an Italian mystery thriller set in the world of ballet that's co-produced by Mediaset and Banjay Studios Italy. Currently in production, Light of Your Eyes is slated for a 2021 release.
