The Gossip Girl actress has signed her second big beauty contract!
Vera Wang has selected the face of her next fragrance and it’s none other than Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester! Wwd reports that the actress will shoot the ad campaign with photographer Carter Smith this weekend in Manhattan. Congratulations, Leighton!
According to the article, Leighton’s ads for Wang’s as-of-yet-unnamed fragrance will launch in magazines next spring, with the fragrance available in department stores next summer. Wang is evidently targeting a younger audience with the fragrance, stating that she believes Leighton’s “beauty, talent and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, new young fragrance.”
This is the second big beauty contract for Leighton, who is also the spokesperson/Global Hair Ambassador for Herbal Essences. Between these two contracts and the continuing success of Gossip Girl, she’s having a great year!
