Since 2003, he has published fourteen novels, several of them Amazon bestsellers. In 2010, Leiva created and produced Ray Bradbury Week in Los Angeles, celebrating the 90th birthday of one of America's greatest writers. In 2012, he was instrumental in having the Los Angeles City Council designate the downtown L.A. intersection of Fifth and Flower as Ray Bradbury Square.
