The 10 Strongest Naruto & Boruto Characters in the Franchise, Ranked
Image
For over a decade, Naruto was one of the most popular manga and anime series in the world, and its story continues with the Boruto sequel series. Fans of the franchise have met many Kage-level characters over the years, but certain characters really stand out in terms of power. Several of these characters are ninja who are known throughout the Ninja World, but many of them belong to the Ōtsutsuki Clan.

The Ōtsutsuki are celestial beings with powerful chakra, and they typically possess godlike abilities. One of these beings is actually considered to be a god. Whether they are ninja or Ōtsutsuki, the Naruto franchise's strongest characters can destroy villages and defeat Tailed Beasts singlehandedly. Most of these characters appeared in Naruto, but the strongest characters only showed up in Boruto.

When Naruto began, it seemed as though Sakura Haruno was going to be a weakling who constantly needed saving. She actually went on to become one of the world's strongest female ninja. She learned to focus her chakra into her fists – which granted her superhuman-level strength. Thanks to Tsunade's training, she became one of the world's best medical ninja. Sakura fought a few villains over the course of the series, but there were several villains that she never got to fight.

Most of the villains that Sakura never fought were part of the Akatsuki – who were mostly Kage-level ninja. Several of these villains were connected to Orochimaru – who caused Sasuke to become a rogue ninja. Sakura loved Sasuke, so it is really surprising that she never fought villains who were associated with his Leaf Village defection.
