After a long wait, Deadpool & Wolverine is set to premiere on July 26, 2024. Set six years after Deadpool 2, the film will follow the Merc with a Mouth on a mission, given to him by the Time Variance Authority, alonside everyone's favorite mutant, Wolverine. The film will bring back characters from the previous installments, like Blind Al, but it has been announced that it will also include cameos from characters from other films in the Fox Marvel Universe, like Aaron Standford's Pyro and Jennifer Garner's Elektra.

All these beloved characters will return for what the trailers already advertise as a multiversal mess, but fans are still unsure about what they will be doing in the film, who else will appear, and how will their presence affect the overall Marvel Cinematic Universe. Maybe the answer lies in the comics, more specifically in these characters' original backstories and debut.

“Unexpected,” a documentary short about Black women living with HIV in the South, will premiere on Hulu on Dec. 1, which is also World AIDS Day.

Produced by “Abbott Elementary” Emmy winner Sheryl Lee Ralph and directed by Zeberiah Newman, “Unexpected” follows activists Ciarra Ci Ci Covin and Masonia Traylor as they create an underground network to help and support women with HIV in the rural South.

The Oscar-qualifying film, which premiered at the 2023 Essence Film Festival, won an Award of Excellence at both The Accolade Global Film Competition and The Impact Docs Awards, and was a Silver Winner at the Telly Awards. It has also screened at the Scad Savannah Film Festival, DC Black Film Festival, Black Women Film Network, Detroit Black Film Festival, The Women’s Film Festival and Cleveland Film Festival.

Ralph’s nonprofit, The Diva Foundation, acquired the film.

The Diva Foundation, the nonprofit charitable organization founded by Emmy-winning actress and activist Sheryl Lee Ralph, has undergone a rebranding and is expanding its programming efforts.

Founded by Ralph in 1990, the Diva Foundation was initially established to help raise awareness and help prevention of HIV/AIDS. In the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic and the various battles for social justice in recent years, the foundation is seeking to broaden its remit in helping to empower communities to achieve better health outcomes.

As well as the new branding, the foundation has expanded its programming centered across five pillars: Health Awareness, Women and Girls, LGBTQ+, Social Justice & Racial Equity, and Food & Housing Insecurity.

Those looking to get their hands on the late Lord Selford's fortune may have to pay with their lives in 1940's Chamber of Horrors. Based on Edgar Wallace's The Door with Seven Locks, the Norman Lee film will come out on Blu-ray and DVD in March courtesy of Kino Lorber.

Following last month's release of the new DC Universe Online game, the first issue of .DC Universe Online Legends. hit comic book stands this week.
