  • Trivia
Following her divorce from the director Luther Reed, Lee crashed a Hollywood party in May 1931 and was charged by police with disturbing the peace. The host happened to be a writer at whose home her ex was residing at the time. According to the divorce settlement, the former hubby had custody of the children for the weekend and Lee was adamant on being present for the occasion as well. He disagreed and Lee proceeded to smash windows and dent walls with the heel of her slipper.
