Helen Leake

Ms Leake AM is one of Australia's most respected producers. As founder and owner of Dancing Road Productions and Duo Art Productions, her feature credits include Heaven's Burning starring Russell Crowe, Black and White starring Robert Carlyle, Swerve starring Jason Clarke and Wolf Creek 2. Her films have been selected for over 30 international Film Festivals, including Venice, Toronto, London, Karlovy Vary, Busan and Beijing. Ms Leake's most recent feature has just completed shooting in South Australia. Ms Leake was CEO of the South Australian Film Corporation from 2004 to 2007. She also served on the Board of AusFilm and was Chair of the Board of the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC). Ms Leake holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Psychology from Flinders University. Before entering the film industry Ms Leake worked in Australia and the United Kingdom for International Computers Ltd and also ran her own computing consultancy firm.

In 2020 Ms Leake was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in the Australia Day Honours for significant service to film and professional organizations.
