Michelle Le Brun is a producer, director, actor, and videographer, known for for Death: A Love Story (1999), Chicago Hope, la vie à tout prix (1994), The Gifted (1999) and Optics of Aging (2024).

Death: A Love Story is used in classrooms in over 500 universities and colleges in the US and Canada.
As a producer/director and educator, Michelle's interests include media literacy, civic engagement, and empowering young and old alike to analyze media and produce inspiring films that have an impact on social issue conversations. Toward that end in 2002 Ms. Le Brun founded HARKEN! Youth Media in East Los Angeles training under served, gang-affiliated youth in all aspects of documentary filmmaking to nurture critical thinking, creativity, and leadership skills. Upon moving to Providence, RI in 2005 Michelle continued her work with HARKEN! Youth Media bringing media literacy and documentary production skills to the youth of Rhode Island.
Michelle has taught in higher education for over 30 years including in Lesley University's Creative Arts in Learning Division Master's Degree Program, and the University of Rhode Island, Harrington School's Film Media department.
