Flora Le Breton a descendant of Archibald Campbell, 2nd Earl of Argyll.
She was born in Croydon in 1898, beautiful blonde star, trained for the
stage at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and became popular
on the West End stage and Broadway stage from 1917, including the
comedy 'Lass O'Laughter' in 1925, 'Present Arms' in 1928 and 'The Cat
and the Fiddle' in 1931 many more. starred in many films, 'called the
British Mary Pickford' starred in drama and comedies, beginning with
the Meyrick Milton (Ward) Film Company in 1920 she appeared in the
first British colour film 'The Glorious Aventure' in 1922 starring Lady
Diana Cooper and Victor McLaglen, also starred in Hollywood films from
1924, she gave up her film career in 1930 to appear in a New York City
revue 'The Optimists'. she died age 53 in Brooklyn, New York.
