Born in England, he spent the early part of his childhood in the
Caribbean before moving to Canada. His family settled on the West Coast
in Vancouver, British Columbia, in the mid-1970s.
He and his wife had a baby boy, Maxwell Zavier Leacock, who was born on
October 3, 2004, weighing in 7 lbs, 11 oz.
