  • Appeared on the same Mexican dinner club bill in 1934 with The Dancing Cansinos. Margarita Cansino would change her name later to Rita Hayworth. Shortly after, the women were chosen as two of the "Four Debutante Stars of 1936.".
  • She was a brilliant mathematician and for years did the weekly payroll for her daughter's large employment agency.
  • Rosina was the soprano songstress voice-over for Stan Laurel's singing in "Way Out West" The song was entitled "The trail of the lonesome pine".
  • Lawrence met her second husband, John Charles McCabe, at a "Sons of the Desert" convention. McCabe was the founder of the "Sons of the Desert" and wrote the authorized biography of the comedians, "Mr. Laurel & and Mr. Hardy".
  • Her entry into the movie business was facilitated by her father being a Hollywood set builder. Before being hired by Fox Studios at the age of 20, she acted in vaudeville and performed in dance clubs and in stage musicals.
  • Promising dancer, singer and ingenue in light films, notably some of the 'Our Gang' shorts as well as Laurel & Hardy comedies, who married in 1939 and thereupon retired from the screen.
  • Signed a seven year contract with Hal Roach Studios in October, 1934, following her departure from 20th Century Fox.
  • Featured in an advertisement in Movie Classic magazine issue June 1936 for Duart hair treatment.
  • Body Cremated and ashes were given to family or friend.
  • Early in her career, according to a 1936 newspaper article by Edith Lindeman, Lawrence worked as a stand-in for Sally Eilers.
