French singer. His first single was released in 1983.

Has four children: Simon Lavoine (b. March 1986) from his first civil marriage from the beginning of the 1980s to the end of the 1980s to a former "Vogue" model who died of cancer in December 2017, and Yasmine Lavoine (b. 22 January 1998), Roman Lavoine (b. 26 May 2007) and Milo Lavoine (b. 29 June or 1 July 2010) from his second marriage.

Married civilly on 16 or 26 May 1995 and religiously in Marrakesh on 25 May 1995.

His book "L'homme qui ment" is about his upbringing and his parents. His first one 'Toi et moi, on s'appelle par nos prénoms 'was a collection of articles written by autistic people for a magazine called 'Le Papotin'.
