Things don’t seem to be going in Justin Baldoni’s favor amidst his legal battle with Blake Lively. In another win for Team Lively, the court has made it clear that the actress’ deposition has to be stricken from the record. Lively’s deposition took place a few days ago in New York City, with Baldoni present in the same room.

After she was deposed, Baldoni’s lawyers filed a motion in a discovery dispute, including a sealed copy of the 292-page-long deposition transcript as an exhibit. Lively’s lawyers filed a motion to strike the sealed transcript, claiming that it was done for “no plausible legal reason” except “as fodder for the Wayfarer Defendants’ media campaign.” (via People).

Judge Lewis Liman not only granted her motion, ordering to strike the deposition from the record, but he also reprimanded Baldoni’s lawyers for their tactics. More on this later.

Blake Lively has publicly blasted Perez Hilton for unleashing over 500 videos about her and accused him of stonewalling a subpoena she issued amid her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni, Us Weekly reports.

A YouTuber is seeking a protective order against actress Blake Lively, after being served with a subpoena by Lively’s legal team.

Lauren Neidigh, who runs the YouTube channel “The Court of Random Opinion,” requested the order from a judge on Monday. Neidigh, along with two other content creators, was served subpoenas amid Lively’s legal war with Justin Baldoni.

“[Lively’s] subpoena targeted creators who have expressed unfavorable opinions about her online,” Neidigh said. “The subpoena was not supported by any evidence. It served to intimidate, harass, chill constitutionally protected free speech, and threaten the safety and privacy of non-parties.”

Lively’s team eventually dropped the subpoenas, but that didn’t stop the YouTuber from requesting the protective order.

Neidigh also said that Lively has not closed the door on a future subpoena, leaving a “burden” on the YouTubers who have been targeted.
