James Laurie(I)

Began his career as an actor, graduating from NIDA in 1979. Larie's roles included playing the romantic male lead in the 1983 film Midnite Spares, opposite Gia Cardies. He became a casting director both in Australia and overseas before moving in to management, opening James Laurie Management in both Sydney and Melbourne. Died of cancer in 2023.
