Trained at RADA. Stage actor in rep and West End (six productions). Many TV plays and episodes of series. Moved in 1980 from acting to directing and writing. Wrote 37 TV scripts, including BBC play "The Interview". Directed over fifty productions in London, Sydney, Frankfurt, Sheffield, Florida and major UK provincial theatres.
