Episode Recap: Hawaii Five-0 - 1.03: "Malama Ka Aina"
While I like that Hawaii 5-0 (TV) is gaining more heart, and a greater bond between the team members, the cases leave a little to be desired. At least, in this episode, I saw some information plot holes that had me rewinding my digital cable and asking, "Wait! How did they come to that conclusion?" Then again, it's the interaction between McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Danno (Scott Caan) that I think really makes this show click, so maybe bringing in my Law and Order (TV) mentality isn't the best thing. I watch too many cop dramas anyway. The gang is at a high school football game, watching McGarrett and Chin Ho's (Daniel Dae Kim) alma mater kick the pigskin around. Danno shows up with his daughter, Grace (Teilor Grubbs) and Kono (Grace Park) proves that you can be a 90 lb woman and still yell louder than the boys at the referees.
