Nancy Larson(I)

Nancy Larson was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. At age eighteen she went back to live in Los Angeles where she worked in a clothing factory while sneaking into film classes at UCLA at night. She sold her first screenplay, "Parzival" at age twenty to James Coburn when a friend found his address on a movie star map and threw the script over the fence. After that she worked for various studios and producers and was a Fellow at The Sundance Institute. She collaborated with a number of directors including Shaker Kapur, Wolfgang Peterson and Louis Malle. In addition to her film career, she help develop and executive produced "Zorro The Musical" which received 5 Olivier nominations, including best musical, for its London West End run in 2009. Her screenplay, "The Question of Hu" has received pre-production funding from European Film Funds. Nancy is also developing several other screenplays for Dancing Camel Films based in Munich, which she owns with Christine Ruppert. Nancy has been living in Seattle for the past 20 years.
