Dean Cain Gets A Surprise On 'Hit The Floor'
Valery M. Ortiz, Katherine Bailess, Logan Browning, and Taylour Paige in Hit the Floor (2013)
VH1’s latest scripted series, “Hit The Floor,” follows the trials and tribulations of a group of dancers called the Los Angeles Devil Girls, who are basically a fictional version of the Lakers Girls.

The premiere showed Ahsha (Taylour Paige) -- the daughter of an original Devil Girl -- audition and make the squad. Ahsha’s mom Sloane, played by Kimberly Elise, vowed never to return to the arena after leaving the squad, but came back to congratulate her daughter -- and surprise former Devils player/current coach Pete Davenport (Dean Cain).

Sloane asked Pete to look out for her daughter in the competitive world she was now a part of, and Pete pointed out that the dancers weren't his responsibility, to which Sloane replied, “Ahsha is your responsibility. She’s your daughter.” Dun-dun-dun!

There's more drama to come on the series -- the show’s creator, James Larosa, described...
