Born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, Robin studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and Cheltenham Boys College.

Robin Langford was a British actor and writer. Known for his acting performances at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre Company in Stratford-upon-Avon to the Moscow Arts Theatre in Russia, to his first film, as Elizabeth Taylor's son (with Richard Burton, Sir Alec Guinness and Sir Peter Ustinov). He has portrayed many film and television roles, as well as directed in the theatre.
