    • Maria Landrock was born on July 3, 1923 in Köpenick, Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for Aufruhr im Damenstift (1941), Pedro soll hängen (1941) and Aus erster Ehe (1940). She died in 1992 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, Germany.

  • Brunette German leading lady of the 1940's, trained for acting in Berlin. After the war, she was primarily active in television and doing voice-over work, dubbing for actresses Sophia Loren, Eva Bartok, Eleanor Parker, Beverly Garland, Ingrid Pitt and many others.
  • The actress Maria Landrock had her most successful time in cinema when Germany was in war with the rest of the world.
  • She only appeared seldom in front of the camera after the war.
  • After the attendance of the national acting school in Berlin she acted at different stages. She already made her film debut in 1939 with "Pedro soll hängen" (1941), a production which dragged on from 1939 to 1941.
  • Her voice was also brought into action for the animated cartoon serial "Anne mit den roten Haaren".
