Pam Lambert(I)
- Actress
Growing up as a "Hoosier" in Terre Haute, Indiana, Pamela never imagined she would have the opportunity to live a creative life. Always artsy and displaying a dramatic flair, she didn't quite fit in and felt her dreams would never be fulfilled. However, a traumatic divorce forced her to rethink her future, jump into her car with two tiny kids and a dog named Lucky and head for California. As a result, she auditioned for a theatre when she first arrived and the stage, so to speak, was set.
Pamela has now been an actor and theatre educator most of her adult life. Early in her career she was the owner of a melodrama theatre in Calico Ghost Town, Yermo, Ca. As the "Artistic/Managing Director" she gained valuable experience writing, directing, designing and producing shows in a tourist environment for the seventeen years she was there. As an educator, Pamela has taught Acting, Stagecraft, Intro to Dramatic Literature, Oral Interpretation, and Acting in Shakespeare, just to name a few over her 30 years as a teacher. Pamela's love for the theatre has been realized on stages across southern California, both as an actor and a director. However, her love of acting doesn't stop with the stage. She continues to work in any film, video, or other media when the opportunity arises, and auditions on a regular basis. In addition she takes classes to hone her skills and improve techniques, She has received recognition and awards for her work onstage in acting, directing and set design. Pamela is also part of the Creative staff for Redlands Theatre Festival, a repertory theatre company, and Board President for Redlands Footlighters Theatre where she also runs Social Media. Having retired during COVID Pamela devotes her time and energy to acting, writing, and directing.
