Gregory Lamberson has been an independent filmmaker for 40 years. He is a screenwriter, producer and director, and a member of the Producers Guild of America. Lamberson creates his own feature films and freelances as a screenwriter, ghostwriter, and line producer. He is known for such cult films as Slime City, Killer Rack and Johnny Gruesome. A member of International Thriller Writers, he is also the author of 15 books, including 12 critically acclaimed novels. Known primarily for his work in the horror, action, and comedy genres, he received NCCC Film and Animation Festival's Filmmaker of the Year award in 2017 and Shawna Shea Film Festival's William C. Gerrity Award in 2019. Lamberson is the founder and Executive Director of the nonprofit charitable organization Cinema Arts Collaborative, Inc., and teaches screenwriting at University at Buffalo. He is also the founder of Amazing Fantasy Fest, previously known as Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival and Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival before that.
