Sister of Norbert Kückelmann.

A respected voice-over artist, she dubbed for such English-speaking stars as Shirley MacLaine, Jane Fonda, Sandy Dennis, Jean Simmons and Charlotte Rampling.

German stage and screen actress, the daughter of a physician. Initially slated for a career as a dancer, she first studied ballet at the Bavarian State Opera. She performed on stage from the age of 16, trained under the noted actor Friedrich Domin. During the 1950's, she matured into a leading actress of the theatre, appearing in important plays by Colette and Anouilh, at the same time starring in melodramas on the screen.

Afflicted by cancer, she committed suicide in January 1979.
