    Austrian stage and screen actress, trained (1920-22) at Vienna's Akademie für Musik und darstellende Kunst. Her second husband (1929-38) was the film director Veit Harlan, a favorite of Hitler's national socialist regime. Körber appeared mainly in supporting roles and second leads during the 1930's and 40's. From 1951, she was director of the Max Reinhardt acting academy in Berlin, introducing psychology as a subject.
