Started filming in 8 mm with his brother at age 12 using friends as actors.
Taught at the San Francisco Art Institute starting in 1971.
George began making 8mm movies in the 1950s with his twin brother, Mike Kuchar. They soon became central to the underground, avant-garde film scene, screening work alongside Andy Warhol, Kenneth Anger, and Stan Brakhage.
