Krishna Ramanan

Krishna Ramanan is an Indian cinematographer who is based in Mumbai. While growing up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu he started his career as a still photographer in South Indian films and has served as a film stills and working stills photographer in as many as 14 films in all the South Indian languages. He moved to Mumbai as a film magazine photographer for various publications in Mumbai. In 1997 he moved back to Chennai to assist internationally renowned , multiple award winning cinematographer Santosh Sivan in films like Dil Se.. Asoka, Terrorist and many more till he became independent cinematographer. In 2002 he got his first break as cinematographer in a Tamil film "Kummalam", since then he has served as cinematographer in many films in as many as 4 Indian languages. He has done camera work for films in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi and Bengali, Krishna Ramanan has done notable work in Web-series such as Twisted 1&2, Boss, Untouchables, Rain which are doing very well in OTTs.
