Korbi Dean

Comedy skilled & dramatically trained, Korbi has landed roles in film & television known for The Walking Dead (2010), The Glorias (2020) opposite Julianne Moore, The Act (2019) Hulu TV series starring Patricia Arquette opposite Joey King & Calum Worthy, The Riches (2007) (Pilot) for FX- Maverick Films opposite Eddie Izzard, and Faith of My Fathers (2005) for A&E-Sony opposite Shawn Hatosy & Scott Glenn. One of Korbi's earliest film roles was in the recent cult following of Stephen King's Les ailes de la nuit (1997) opposite Miguel Ferrer. Korbi has worked with directors Greg Nicotero, Shirley MacLaine, Carl Franklin, Julie Taymor, Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre, Peter Markle & Mark Pavia.

Korbi trained in LA with The Groundlings, Howard Fine, Playhouse West and vocals with Katie Agresta in NYC. She starred in Off-Broadway NY and was the lead singer in the band "Kennedy Ann" that toured in and around Manhattan. Korbi is often described as similar in type to the striking sultry edge of Uma Thurman, off-beat humor of Lisa Kudrow, bold earthy strength of Mariska Hargitay, & dark grit of Anjelica Huston. Korbi has had the opportunity to enjoy roles in the Film & TV genres of Crime, Drama, Sci-fi & RomCom as a Spy, Assassin, Cop, Detective, Musician, Singer, Love Interest, Evil Scientist, Villain, Ghost and News Anchor speaking in foreign language, accents, shooting guns, love scenes, fx makeup, flashback, dream sequences and period pieces. Korbi's other earlier career credits include her as Sandy, a character voice in a Japanese Anime Shin majin den batoru royaru haisukûru (1987) as well as a 20ft cliff dive stunt into a rock quarry for Rachael Ward's character in Meurtre en eaux troubles (1997) directed by Mary Lambert.
