Working as a stage designer since 1992.
After 10 years in theater, she switched to film.
She now has experience in over 50 feature film productions, collaborating with directors and cinematographers including: Hans-Christian Schmid, Ilker Catac, Richard Huber, Stephan Wagner, Markus Goller, Matti Geschonneck, Friedemann Fromm, Dani Levy, Judith Kaufmann, Martin Langer, David Slama, Hanno Lentz, Thomas Benesch, Alexander Fischerkoesen.
She was awarded the Grimme Prize in 2014 for the historical project "Mord in Eberswalde" (Murder in Eberswalde)
