- Hans Klinga was born on April 17, 1949 in Västerås, Västmanlands län, Sweden. He was an actor and director, known for Sjukan (1995), Destination Nordsjön (1990) and Lita på mig! (1981). He was married to Lil Terselius. He died on January 26, 2025 in Stockholm, Sweden.

- In 2018, he was awarded the Swedish Academy's Theatre Prize. A prize of 75,000 kronor awarded to stage artists, directors and dramatic writers for their contributions to the performing arts.
- Together with actress Malin Ek , he had a daughter, Elin Klinga, also an actress at the Royal Swedish Opera.
- Hans Klinga came to Dramaten in 1969, directly after his education at the Stockholm School of Drama. He has since appeared in a number of productions at Dramaten, such as "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" (1979), "The Merchant of Venice" (2004) and "Fanny and Alexander" (2012).
- Klinga was involved in the Söderblomspelet in Trönö from the start in 1986, a summer theatre that deals with the life and work of Archbishop Nathan Söderblom, and in recent years, Klinga was the director of one of the largest summer theaters in Norrland.
