Jane was born in Detroit, Michigan. Grew up in the "burbs" where she received excellent public school music, theater, dance, and gymnastics training. Sang extensively in church choir, musical plays (Tigger in Winnie the Pooh was a favorite), and school concerts (which were as extravagant as Broadway productions). She also competed in and received high marks for State Vocal Competitions. Just out of high school, she toured the British Isles and Canada with Michigan State Vocal Association Choir and Band, where she was a soloist. She also competed in and won awards on the state level for gymnastic competitions.

Jane attended the Univ. of Michigan, where she made her own degree in Performing Arts (they've since created such a program) and starred in numerous plays and musicals-including Two Gentlemen of Verona, Man of LaMancha, Cabaret, Of Thee I Sing, La Ronde, Waiting for Godot, and Jacques Brel is Alive and Well.

After receiving her Bachelor's Degree, Jane went on to an apprenticeship at Actors Theatre of Louisville, where she performed in original one-act plays, children's theatre, and mainstage productions with New York actors.

In New York, Jane did summer stock, Off-Off Broadway, and started her cabaret career Cabaret shows at Once Upon a Stove, The Duplex and Palsson's. Also did a few commercials. She also sang in a rock band-Crash Course.

Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Jane launched full-time into commercial acting (USPS, Discover Card, Sprint, AT&T Yellow Pages), and one-woman shows. Venues for her popular shows have been The Melrose Theater, The Comedy Store, Luna Park, Masquer's Cabaret and the world-famous Cinegrill in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Session work includes film source music recordings, commercials, original children's musical, and back-up to fifties star Herb Jeffries. Most recently, Jane had the extraordinary and delightful experience of singing on Neil Young's recent controversial CD "Living With War" along with a choir of 99 other singers.

Jane sings professionally with The Caroling Company, Girl Group (an acappella trio), Trilogy Swing Band (as an Andrew Sister), church soloist, and still volunteers in her church choir where she receives wonderful spiritual nourishment and exciting choral challenges.

In 2008, Jane starred in the original musical "Hats!" at Harrah's Las Vegas. She also appeared as Lady MacBeth (MacBeth), Beatrice (Much Ado About Nothing) and Juliet (Romeo and Juliet) in shortened play versions called "A Taste of Shakespeare" for the newly created Las Vegas Playhouse. Back in Hollywood, Jane created the role of Nurse Pickle in "Psychobabble" (an original dramedy) and Sylvia in "Backstage Grease," a one-act comedy about a final community production of "Grease."
