Biography

Kimmel was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and then Tempe, Arizona. He began his career in entertainment studying musical theater and then moved to Los Angeles where he worked as a writer, actor, producer, and director.

Kimmel is married to Carly Kimmel and has two children, Wesley and Beatrix.

Kimmel started his career in television as a production assistant at The Jim Henson Company in New York and soon after moved to Los Angeles to work on shows like South Park (1997), The Man Show (1999) and Viva Variety (1997).

He continued to move up in the production world, working on such shows as Le spectacle de Chris Rock (1997) and Crank Yankers (2002). Kimmel's first writing job was as a Staff Writer on Bush, président (2001) for Comedy Central, and since has written for South Park (1997), Drawn Together (2004) and served as head writer for Crank Yankers (2002) and The Andy Milonakis Show (2005) (of which he also co-EPs).

In his spare time, Kimmel has also managed to get several roles as an actor in such shows as Life with Bonnie (2002), Bush, président (2001), Crank Yankers (2002) and he has a small role in Disney's The Wild (2006).
