(2008) J.P.Dutta had planned to make the film "Tiger Hills". He had signed Sunil Shetty, Saif Ali Khan,Akshaye Khanna, Arbaaz Khan. The film was called off due to budget issues. It was finally made as "Shershaah" with Siddharth Malhotra.

(1996) Venus Creations" Productions shelved film or movie titled "Agar" ; Starring :- Saif Ali Khan , Bobby Deol, Akshaye Khanna ,Shilpa Shetty , Raveena Tondon , Twinkle Khanna & Aditya Pancholi with Shakti Kapoor. ; Music by - Rajesh Roshan & Anand Raj Anand. ; Produced by - Venus & Ramesh Sippy ; Written & Directed by - Rakesh Roshan. ; but due to some date issues. ; the project or film too got shelved.

(2006) Producer Johnny Bakshi was planning a film titled "Ghar", starring Vinod Khanna, Rahul Khanna and Akshaye Khanna, directed by Vikram Bhatt. The film was later called off.

(1996) R.A.R Movies" Productions shelved movie titled "Bullet" ; Starring :- Akshaye Khanna , Karishma Kapoor , Manek Bedi & Paresh Rawal with Anupam Kher and Kader Khan. ; Music by - Nadeem-Shravan. ; Produced by - Raj Lalchandani , Ashoo Nihalani & Ranjeet Verma. ; Written & Directed by - Sanjay Gupta. ; but the film was got shelved for unknown reasons.

(1998) Starred in the shelved movie Vishesh Films P. Ltd "Mulakat". Starring Akshaye Khanna, Aishwarya Rai, Music by Nadeem Shravan, Produced by Mukesh Bhatt,Directed by Mahesh Bhatt.

(2018) Starred in the shelved movie "Gumnaam - The Game of The Unknown". Starring Amitabh Bachchan,Akshaye Khanna, Swara Bhaskar,Shriya Saran, Produced by Jayantilal Gada, Directed by E.Niwas. The film was not a remake of the 1965 film Gumnaam.

(1999) Hansal Mehta earlier wanted to make project titled "Shaadi.com" starring Tabu with either Saif Ali Khan or Akshaye Khanna. Hansal Mehta dropped the project because producer Nitin Patil backed out. Hansal Mehta would later in 2005 be signed by Feroz Khan to direct another different film titled "Shaadi.com" with Fardeen Khan and Celina Jaitley. That film also ended up getting shelved. Feroz Khan's "Shaadi.com" was earlier being made with the title " Tera Saath Hain Kitna Pyaara" with Fardeen Khan and Aishwarya Rai. Produced and Directed by Feroz Khan.
