He belongs to the illustrious Khan family in Bollywood, being the younger brother of superstar Salman Khan and filmmaker Arbaaz Khan. Sohail's father, Salim Khan, is a renowned screenwriter in the Indian film industry.

      Sohail Khan made his acting debut in Bollywood with the film "Maine Dil Tujhko Diya" in 2002, which he also wrote and produced. The movie received a mixed response, but Sohail's foray into multiple roles within the film industry showcased his diverse talents. Following his debut, he went on to act in various films, often collaborating with his brothers. Mansoor Siddique then sold the title song of the film " Tujhe Manga Tha Tujhe Paya Hain" to producer Firoz Nadiadwala. Firoz used it for his film " Ram Shastra".
